Synopsis: Inspired by real events, the story centres around two Las Vegas based con men who dig up and steal the corpse of comedian Charlie Chaplin in order to ransom it. With the theft gaining the world’s attention and the reward rising daily, soon every local lowlife, criminal and dirty cop wants a piece of the action.

The film has just wrapped a three week shoot in and around Las Vegas, following Dystopian Films summer shoot of Amazon Prime show Age of The Living Dead season 2. Stealing Chaplin’s cast includes Al Sapienza (House of Cards, The Sopranos), Peter Woodward (The Patriot, Pennyworth), Simon Phillips (Once Upon a Time at Christmas, No Easy Days) and a cameo from Mr Las Vegas, Wayne Newton. Ken Bressers, Simon Phillips and Paul Tanter produce for Dystopian Films with Tanter directing from a Doug Phillips script. It is due a late 2020 release.
