Jack Travis is a writer notorious for scaring audiences. Jack continues to devise his play but is set on edge when a ghostly spectre of his daughter appears to him around the castle. Meanwhile, a concerned local neighbour with a dark family secret discovers what Jack is working on and desperately tries to stop him finishing his play. Jack begins to reckon with the unsettling consequences unfolding around him, but will he realise the danger of unearthing an historic curse and stop writing his play before he damns himself and those he loves forever?
