STERVYATNITSA is an action micro short, serving as a prologue to upcoming feature film, TWO GUNNED SAINT. It follows Harry, an assassin (Mika Hockman) finishing up a job in St Petersburg, a job that her employers don't feel inclined to pay for and mayhem ensues.
Writer/director Josh Fowler comments: "We wanted to create a slightly detached almost dreamlike state to the action, to give it a fairly unique feeling and a sense of our lead remaining coldly distant as chaos kicks off around her. We also wanted to dial up the slightly retro neon/electronic aesthetic, make it almost garish in colour and have fun with it.
Our feature film TWO GUNNED SAINT picks up 6 months later and follows a man seeking retribution against a criminal cartel in London and Harry, our lead in STERVYATNITSA is providing him with all the intelligence he needs to take them down. But his enemy is more powerful than he counted on and loyalties are tested."
