Rising star Mhairi Calvey is having a busy year with four feature films set for release in 2019, 3 LIVES, ROBERT THE BRUCE, THE CURSE OF HOBBES HOUSE and CRYSTAL’S SHADOW..
Mhairi has also directed, written and produced her first short film GASLIGHT which is in post-production, whilst also launching production company Dream Reel Entertainment which specialises in feature films, shorts and media content.
Mhairi also has a modelling career, where she recently modelled for bridal couture Sophia Grace Couture in Scotland as well as Corsets for Poppaea Bicknell, plus she is training in mixed martial arts Krav Maga,

Mhairi is about to start filming WW2 movie THE POINT OF NO RETURN, directed by Rick Roberts and is attached to play the female lead role in FEAR THE INVISIBLE MAN, directed by Paul Dudbridge and M.ARYS directed by Juliane Block.

In RichardGray's ROBERT THE BRUCE, MhairiplaysacameoroleasElizabethdeBurghinastoryofnobleman-turned-outlawherowhowaswascrownedkingofScotsinthe14thcentury. Mhairi made her film debut as Young Murron in Mel Gibson's Braveheart (1995).
Following it's EIFF World Premiere, ROBERT THE BRUCE will open in UK Cinemas 28th June 2019.
As well has having a lead role in THE CURSE OF HOBBES HOUSE, Mhairi is one of the film's producers.
