Synopsis: In 1955, NATO and the Allied Forces conducted secret, occult experiments in a bid to win the Arms Race. They succeeded, and what they unleashed almost tore our world apart.
On the brink of apocalypse, it was only through the silent self-sacrifice of an incredible female Army Captain (Frances) that our world was saved.
Today a group of urban explorers and a private military unit could become the final pieces in a 60-year plan to reopen a door that Frances has been holding closed ever since.
As the urban explorers break into the facility that still echoes with the horrors of the past, they are hotly pursued by a shadowy mercenary group with a single mission statement of ‘Neutralize & Extract’.
Before they can complete the mission however...
Before they can complete the mission however, the events of 60 years ago begin to repeat themselves.
Grace, one of the explorers, begins to experience Frances’s memories (much to the confusion of her adopted brother, Adam) – it seems, she has been chosen as a sacrifice to close this door to our annihilation, once and for all.
And as various members of the explorer and mercenary teams are slaughtered by the reawakened creatures, Grace and two remaining soldiers must fight their way to the Facility’s exit... only to be confronted with the same choice as Frances had 60 years previously – escape with their lives or sacrifice themselves for the greater good and continued survival of our civilization.
However, where Frances failed to completely close the door 60 years ago...
However, where Frances failed to completely close the door 60 years ago, Grace is now armed with something more powerful than military might and unshakable courage. No matter what ‘The Rizen’ is, today it threatens to take the life of her brother.
Possessed by Frances’ strength, military training and sense of duty above all else, Grace fights her way back into the heart of the Facility and the chamber where ‘The Rizen’ is forcing its way through the door that Frances still struggles to hold closed.
