THE COURIER’s all-star cast also includes Dermot Mulroney, William Moseley, Alicia Agneson, Amit Shah & Craig Conway.
Principal photography began today, Monday 11th February, for Signature Films and Rollercoaster Angel Production’s The Courier, starring Olga Kurylenko (Oblivion) and Oscar winner Gary Oldman. The shoot kicked off filming in London with the announcement of an all-star cast including Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding, Friends), British actor William Moseley (The Chronicles of Narnia, The Royals), star of Vikings Alicia Agneson, up and-coming British talent Amit Shah (Final Score, The Hundred-Foot Journey) and Craig Conway (Mara) also joining the action flick.
Set against a gritty London backdrop, Kurylenko plays a courier whose daily deliveries are interrupted when she discovers that her latest package is a gas bomb aimed to kill the only living witness on the edge of testifying against a ruthless crime lord, played by Oldman.
Mulroney is playing the role of the CIA director, leading the investigation, with Moseley playing Manning’s (played by Oldman), nasty side-kick, Gant. The impressive line-up includes rising stars Alicia Agneson, Amit Shah and Craig Conway taking leading roles as Simmonds (a hard-as-nails female CIA agent), Nick (an innocent witness of Manning’s heinous crime) and Agent Parlow.
THE COURIER directed by Zackary Adler (Rise of the Footsoldier III) is being produced by Marc Goldberg (Final Score, The Hatton Garden Job aka One Last Heist), James Edward Barker (Mara, 4.3.2.1), David Haring (Pandas), Andrew Prendergast (An American Exorcism) and Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning producer Douglas Urbanski, Oldman’s long-term producing partner, exec producing alongside Elizabeth Williams (Final Score) Wayne Godfrey (A Private War) and Christian Mercuri (Papillon).
