Horror Short ‘TRIPTYCH’ Explores the Dark Side of Art and Ambition
BritFlicks is thrilled to present the trailer for ‘TRIPTYCH,’ a new horror short directed by Sophia Ray, starring Emmanuel Imani (Amazon Prime’s Wheel of Time, Netflix's Geek Girl) and Angela Nedyalkov (T2: Trainspotting). Just in time for Halloween, ‘TRIPTYCH’ explores the chilling depths of ambition, art, and dark secrets.
The story follows art dealer Margaux Kasser, who plans to destroy a Bosch masterpiece as part of a bold performance art piece. Yet, as she prepares for this act, a horrific past resurfaces, revealing the dangerous cost of ambition. Ray’s inspiration draws on the eerie imagery of Hieronymus Bosch, weaving a psychological thriller that explores how ambition can lead to terrifying consequences.
Produced by BAFTA-nominated Byron McNally (Script Compass) and BAFTA-winner Medb Riordan (Academy Films), ‘TRIPTYCH’ will screen at the Oscar-qualifying Hollyshorts and BAFTA-qualifying Bolton Film Festival, showcasing a compelling blend of horror and mystery.
