From the team behind 'Almost Liverpool 8' comes 'LIVERPOOL STORY,' a fresh and intimate documentary that captures the heart of Liverpool over an eventful year. Directed by Daniel Draper and produced by Christie Allanson, this locally made film showcases Liverpool’s communities, culture, and lesser-seen moments, all woven together with themes of home, belonging, and memory.
Filmed by Shut Out The Light Films throughout 2023, 'LIVERPOOL STORY' takes viewers on a poetic journey through the city's many postcodes. The documentary brings to life everything from drag nights to doggy day care, offering a unique perspective on the day-to-day beauty of Liverpool, filmed by locals who know and love the city.
The premiere will be held at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on November 21st, 2024 at 7:30pm, celebrating the people and places that make Liverpool truly special. The trailer is now available to watch on YouTube and Instagram.
