ADVENT: A Nightmare Behind Every Door
'ADVENT,' a new horror film directed by Airell Anthony Hayles (Werewolf Santa, Midnight Peepshow), will have its world premiere at FrightFest Halloween 2024 on 1 November, and will be available on digital platforms from 25 November 2024, courtesy of Miracle Media.
This chilling film stars Mark Arnold (Blade Runner 2049), Nicholas Vince (Hellraiser), Cory Peterson (Fantastic Beasts), Rasina Pavlova, and Cian Lorcan. ADVENT draws inspiration from the real-life Blue Whale Challenge, a sinister social media game, giving it a terrifying supernatural twist.
The story follows a social media influencer who discovers a cursed advent calendar and streams herself opening it live. Each door hides a twisted challenge, pushing her to the brink of madness as Christmas approaches. Will she survive the holiday horror, or has she invited something even darker into her life?
