ALIEN ON STAGE: A Documentary Like No Other
'ALIEN ON STAGE' is a documentary about a unique group of Dorset bus drivers who decide to break away from the usual pantomime and attempt something completely different. With no prior experience, they spend a year crafting a serious stage adaptation of the sci-fi horror classic, 'ALIEN,' ingeniously recreating the iconic film for the stage.
Their village-hall production is a disaster, but fate intervenes, offering them a second chance. As they come to grips with the fact that their serious play has unintentionally turned into a comedy, the group is unexpectedly invited to perform their accidental masterpiece in a prestigious London West End theatre, for one night only!
In this heartwarming and hilarious documentary, the bus drivers become the space heroes, their bus station transforms into a space station, and Dorset becomes outer space. And where's the Alien? It’s behind you!
