Entertainment Squad has announced the worldwide digital release of 'THE DESERVING,' under its genre label, The Horror Collective, on October 1st, 2024. Directed by S.S. Arora in his feature debut, the film has already claimed over 15 awards at prestigious film festivals, including Best Horror at Hallucinea FF and Best Feature Film at Athens IFF.
'THE DESERVING' follows the chilling story of a mute serial killer (Venkat Sai Gunda), haunted by the ghosts of his victims as he prepares to end his life. However, his plans take a dark turn when a walk-in client requests an urgent photo shoot, forcing him to confront his haunting past. The film explores themes of guilt, redemption, and the cycle of abuse, offering a unique take on the horror genre.
