Daniele Campea’s award-winning psychological horror 'MOTHER NOCTURNA' (originally Madre Notturna) will be available on VOD in the US and Canada on September 27. This chilling Italian horror film will also be released on Prime Video and Apple TV in the UK and Italy the same day.
Inspired by Euripides’ The Bacchae, 'MOTHER NOCTURNA' follows Agnese, a mentally fragile doctor who returns to her family after a long stay in a mental institution. As the moon’s occult power distorts her mind, nightmares and visions of the “God of the woods” lead her into madness. Directed by Daniele Campea, the film won Best International Feature at the Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest and Best Feature at the Eerie Horror Fest.
