The indie horror film 'THE TORMENTED' will have its premiere at Harbour Lights Picturehouse in Southampton on August 19th, 2024. The story follows Ellie, who visits Outré Grove—a forest with a dark past—after the tragic loss of her husband. Accompanied by her sister-in-law and friends, what starts as a tribute soon turns unsettling as the group encounters strange and terrifying occurrences.
Directed by Isaac Lawrence, the film explores themes of grief and fear in a haunting setting. Tickets for the premiere are available through a donation to the film's GoFundMe page. 'THE TORMENTED' will also be released on streaming platforms later this year.
