Synopsis:
Set in the windswept moors of Yorkshire in 1898, 'THE MONSTER BENEATH US' tells the story of a grieving woman and her son who move back to the unoccupied house of her ex-husband, recently found dead under mysterious circumstances. The icy house, however, is not as empty as it seems. They soon discover that it is inhabited by a Boggart, an evil solitary supernatural spirit from English folklore.
This slow-burn horror explores themes of isolation, otherness, and loss as each haunted character confronts the malevolent hobgoblin in their own way. Whether they choose to befriend it, fight it, or ignore it, the conflict between fright and might leads to an inevitable final showdown.
