World Premiere at FrightFest on Thursday, August 22
The highly anticipated sci-fi horror movie TEST SCREENING will have its world premiere at FrightFest on Thursday, August 22. Directed by Clark Baker the cast includes Chloe Kerwin, Drew Scheid, Rain Spencer and Johnny Berchtold. TEST SCREENING, set for a 2024 release, promises to be a standout in the genre.
Set in the summer of 1982, TEST SCREENING follows the story of a small Oregon town excited about a Hollywood studio's test screening of a new blockbuster. The town speculates whether it could be a new John Carpenter film, the latest Spielberg hit, or another STAR TREK installment.
Four lifelong friends eagerly attend the screening, only to discover that the film is a mind-control experiment with terrifying effects on their community. This movie blends elements of THE THING and SOCIETY within a STRANGER THINGS-like universe, delivering a unique mix of 80s-inspired sci-fi horror.
