In FROM DARKNESS, park ranger Angelica (Oscar Skagerberg) embarks on a perilous journey to locate a missing woman in a treacherous Swedish nature reserve. Enlisting the help of her former dog-handler boyfriend, Viktor (Rakel Benér Gajdusek), the search takes a dark turn as they encounter the eerie myth of the Cave Banshee. This vengeful spirit from Nordic folklore once lured miners to their deaths in the dangerous caves, and its presence now looms ominously over Angelica and Viktor.
As they delve deeper into the forest, Viktor begins to question his own sanity, haunted by the possibility that the Banshee is more than just a legend. The mission is further complicated by Angelica and Viktor's shared, painful history with the haunted reserve. Together, they must confront their past and unravel the numerous mysteries that shroud the area.
