Synopsis: QUEEN TUT follows the journey of Nabil (Ryan Ali), an Egyptian teenager who moves to Toronto after his mother's passing. There, he encounters Malibu (Alexandra Billings), a trans-woman and the vibrant force behind the drag night queer haven, Mandy’s. Malibu takes Nabil under her wing, teaching him to sew and helping him explore his identity. As Nabil begins to find his true self, he joins Malibu in the fight to save Mandy’s from demolition, pitting them against his architect father and the gentrification-minded establishment.
