'DERELICT,' a dark, gritty, and brilliantly acted thriller of revenge and empowerment, was filmed exclusively in Herefordshire, UK, on a budget of just £35k. The film focuses on a daughter's quest for revenge and the circumstances leading to her father's murder. Steeped in the tradition of British film noir, the story brings together a series of unusual characters facing situations with far-reaching consequences.
The narrative centers on Abigail (Suzanne Fulton), a socially isolated and angry young woman grappling with the brutal murder of her father years prior. Upon learning that one of her father's murderers is about to be released from prison, Abi embarks on a path of vengeance. Concurrently, Matt's (Michael Coombes) life is upended by the return of his brother Ewan (Pete Bird). Their fates intertwine in tragic ways that will shape their lives forever.
