Jeva Films and 4 8 Fourteen Films are excited to release the first teaser and poster for their upcoming thriller, '7 KEYS.' The film has been officially selected for this year’s Pigeon Shrine FrightFest and will premiere in the 'First Blood' strand on August 24th.
'7 KEYS,' written and directed by Joy Wilkinson, stars Emma McDonald and Billy Postlethwaite. The pair have previously worked together in Paul Hart's adaptation of Macbeth and the short horror film, 'The Everlasting Club,' also directed by Wilkinson. This film marks Wilkinson’s feature debut, following her successful writing career with credits including Doctor Who and Lockwood & Co.
The plot follows single mother Lena, who, after a disappointing date, meets Daniel. Discovering Daniel has kept keys to every place he’s lived, Lena joins him on an adventurous weekend exploring London. As they delve deeper into each other’s lives, dark secrets are revealed, turning their thrilling escapade into a perilous journey.
'7 KEYS' offers a twisted love story set against the backdrop of unseen London, highlighting the challenges young people face in modern city life. Produced by Cassandra Sigsgaard and Dylan Rees, the film promises an intense and gripping narrative.
