Psychological Horror 'BURNS & SONG' is Tendayi Nyeke'S Debut Feature
South African horror film 'BURNS & SONG' is set to make its world premiere at the Dances with Films festival. Created by Tendayi Nyeke, this psychological horror follows Simu (Fulu Mugovhani), a mother running from a dark past and a vengeful spirit, NGOZI. With a looming debt that must be repaid by her daughter’s thirteenth birthday, the stakes are high.
Tendayi Nyeke, a Netflix animation producer and Executive Producer of 'Kizazi Moto' (2023), brings this story to life. 'BURNS & SONG' is the first-ever pilot from a South African filmmaker to screen at Dances with Films.
