Strive Global Media Acquires Worldwide Sales Rights for 'DEAD BEFORE THEY WAKE'
Strive Global Media, under the Fabrication Films label, has successfully acquired worldwide sales rights for the Brit crime thriller 'DEAD BEFORE THEY WAKE'. The film's cast includes Nathan Shepka (known for "When Darkness Falls", "Lock & Load"), Grace Cordell ("Cara"), Manjot Sumal ("Scot Squad" and "The Last Bus"), Kareem Nasif ("The Job"), alongside 'Dr Who' legend Sylvester McCoy (seen in "The Hobbit trilogy", "The Munsters") and Patrick Bergin ("Patriot Games", "The Continental").
Produced by Shepka Productions, 'DEAD BEFORE THEY WAKE' draws inspiration from true events linked to the recent sex trafficking scandals that have made headlines across the UK. The narrative centers on Alex (played by Shepka), a nightclub bouncer who teams up with a retired lawyer (McCoy) to locate a missing girl believed to be caught in a trafficking ring. Their mission is clear: to bring her home safely, no matter the cost.
The film is co-directed by Andy Crane and Nathan Shepka, featuring an original score by Academy Award-winning composer Joseph Renzetti (known for "The Buddy Holly Story", "Child’s Play") and includes music by the late, great country singer Del Shannon.
