High Fliers Films has announced that "THE TROUBLES: A DUBLIN STORY" will be released on DVD and digital platforms in the UK on February 26th.
Directed by Luke Hanlon, this drama offers a gritty portrayal of a lesser-known aspect of Irish history, set in 1980s North Dublin. The film follows two working-class brothers, Sean (Ray Malone) and Francis (Adam Redmond), who find themselves drawn into the complexities of Northern Ireland's Troubles after witnessing shocking events on television. Shocked into action, they unwittingly plunge into the intricate and hazardous realm of conflict.
United in their journey, they grapple with notions of honor, familial ties, loyalty, political affiliations, and criminality as they contribute to the relentless Northern war effort, regardless of the potential repercussions.
