Unveiling MICKEY'S MOUSE TRAP: A Unique Horror Twist on a Classic Cartoon
Coinciding with Disney's Mickey Mouse entering the public domain, director Jamie Bailey releases the trailer for his horror comedy thriller, MICKEY'S MOUSE TRAP.
The film's plot centers around Alex's 21st birthday. While working a late shift at an amusement arcade, her friends' surprise visit turns into a nightmarish scenario as they are hunted by a masked killer dressed as Mickey Mouse. Director Jamie Bailey aimed to blend horror with humor, stating, "We just wanted to have fun with it all. It's Steamboat Willie's Mickey Mouse murdering people. It's ridiculous. We ran with it and had fun doing it, and I think it shows."
MICKEY'S MOUSE TRAP features Sophie McIntosh, Callum Sywyk, Allegra Nocita, Ben Harris, Damir Kovic, Mackenzie Mills, Nick Biskupek, and Simon Phillips. The film's music is scored by Darren Morze. It was produced by Paul Whitney, Mark Popejoy, Alexander Gausman, Andrew Agopsowicz, and co-produced by Mem Ferda from Filmcore. The film is expected to be released in March 2024.
