Exclusive Trailer Premiere: Michael Fausti's 'BURNT FLOWERS' - Not all flames die out...
Cult director Michael Fausti, known for his underground hit “EXIT” in 2020, is back in the spotlight with his latest creation, “BURNT FLOWERS”. This highly anticipated feature film is shrouded in mystery, with Fausti himself describing it as a blend of “A psycho-sexual Film Noir” and “Alice in Wonderland meets the Wizard of Oz”.
Set across two distinct eras - the late 1960s and the early 1990s:
“BURNT FLOWERS” unfolds an intriguing narrative. The film follows Detective Francis Alban, portrayed by Amber Doig-Thorne (known for "Blood and Honey", 2022), as she delves into the sinister depths of 1960s London on a haunting quest to uncover a long-elusive serial killer.
The “BURNT FLOWERS” cast features some of the most notable names in UK indie horror scene including
Ayvianna Snow, Dani Thompson, Laurence R. Harvey, Dean Kilbey, and Annabella Rich. Despite its modest budget of £12,000, “BURNT FLOWERS” promises to deliver a compelling cinematic experience, drawing inspiration from the dark, nihilistic themes of Euro-Noirs like Le Samurai and the surreal horror of Jean Rollin's work
Themes of obsession, duality, and revenge weave through the narrative, accompanied by cinematography from Kemal Yildirim and a original score by Nick Burns.
