Prepare for Laughs and Scares as 101 Films Brings Garry Walsh's Latest to Your Screens
On 13 November 2023, get ready for a chilling but uproarious experience as WICKEDLY EVIL comes to UK digital platforms, thanks to 101 Films Digital. Directed by Garry Walsh, this wickedly hilarious horror-comedy promises to keep you at the edge of your seat, all while making you laugh.
The Plot: A Nightmarish Ordeal with Inept Criminals
The story kicks off with a trio of hapless criminals: Frankie (Joseph McGucken – The Doireann Project), Dancer (James Farrelly), and Gaz (Darryl Carter), who seem to have successfully pulled off a heist against a notorious Irish crime family. Just when they think they’re in the clear, they’re caught by Clare (Louise Bourke – Who We Love), the youngest sister in the mob family they’ve just robbed.
With Clare as their hostage and one of their gang members missing—another nursing a gunshot wound—they have no choice but to hide out in a secluded safe house in the Irish countryside. Their troubles, however, are far from over.
The Chief, The Police, and The Neighbor: A Spiral of Events
Their boss, known as The Chief (Owen Roe – Intermission), seems to be more concerned about the stolen cocaine and cash than their actual safety. As if that's not enough to worry about, local police begin to suspect something is amiss.
To make matters even more complicated and creepy, their neighbor, Sadie (Cat L. Walsh), presents them with not just leftover lasagna but also unsettling stories about a couple that mysteriously vanished from the area. As tensions flare and paranoia sets in, the group soon realizes that malevolence can indeed be found in the most unexpected places.
Don't miss the chance to catch WICKEDLY EVIL, a film that blends horror and comedy in a uniquely entertaining way.
