BLACK MASS, the highly anticipated directorial debut of Devanny Pinn, is set to make its market debut at Marché du Film in Cannes.
Devanny Pinn's debut true crime film BLACK MASS is scheduled to have a market screening on May 21st, 2023 at 6:15pm (Palais J) in the Palais des Festival, as part of the Marché du Film during the Cannes Film Festival in France.
Director Pinn, an award-winning actress and producer who has been active in horror for over a decade, will be attending the festival along with the stars of "Black Mass" - Andrew Sykes (Speechless), Sarah Nicklin (The Retaliators), and Michelle Romano (Spoken Word). Romano, who also produced the film, will also be present at the event.
Outline: Black Mass is a true-crime thriller based on actual events that took place in Florida during the winter of 1978. The film unfolds over a 24-hour period and centers on a serial killer in the lead-up to his ultimate, deranged killing spree. With the goal of presenting a harrowing and unsettling portrayal of the twisted mind of a notorious murderer, the film explores the devastating consequences of his violent actions on the victims and survivors alike.

Outline: After Julie’s sister was murdered, she and her tech genius husband move to the country, and he installs a top-notch security system that he developed. When he leaves on a work trip, she gets trapped inside and is convinced that the killer is having fun playing a sick game of psychological torture, before killing her like her sister.

SCAVENGER, the film that shocked FrightFest, released in the UK.

Additionally, they investigate the current advancements in Congress with respect to research into and disclosure of unidentified aerial phenomena to the public in 2023. This documentary also features a fresh interview with Martyn Stubbs, a long-lost researcher of space anomalies.
