THE LAST HORROR MOVIE received its World premiere at Fantasporto where it won the Critics Award for Best Film, and Neauchatel Fantastic Film Festival in Switzerland where it received the Melies D'Argent for Best European Fantasy Film. It's US premiere was at Eerie Horror Film Festival in Pennsylvania where it won Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor, followed by New York City Horror Film Festival where it won Best Film and Best Actor.
Following its success on the festival circuit THE LAST HORROR MOVIE was picked up for US distribution by Fangoria and became the magazine's first theatrical release through Alamo Drafthouse. Tartan released in the UK under its extreme horror label.
