BritFlicks is delighted to share the first look trailer and images from James Webber's debut feature SORORITY.
SORORITY features a host of established and rising British talent including BAFTA winner Sophie Kennedy Clark (Philomena, The Danish Girl, Nymphomaniac 1&2), Emily Haigh (The Dare, Jane Eyre, G-Loc), Sam Gittins (Await Further Instructions, Ripper Street, Ray & Liz, Howl) and double BAFTA winner Kate Dickie (Game of Thrones, Red Road, The Witch).
SORORITY is the tale of two sisters and their estranged mother.
Outline: SORORITY tells the story of two sisters, Harriet (Sophie Kennedy Clark) and Sarah (Emily Haigh). When both women find themselves heading in opposite directions in life, they must first come to terms with their tragic past and reconcile with their estranged mother Val (Kate Dickie), before looking ahead to a brighter future.
The film was shot by Lorenzo Levrini, who was the D.O.P on Chee Keong Cheung's zombie epic REDCON-1.
Produced by The Springhead Film Company in association with Menik Films, SORORITY is the feature film debut of writer/director James Webber, whose previous work includes the BAFTA long-listed, Channel 4 screened short film Driftwood.
